This is an original painting that was painted using my favorite technique of watercolor paint on birch wood panel. 16 inches wide and 16 inches tall on a round wood panel. Will include a wired mount for the back to be able to hang on a surface. Unframed.

A pair of bluebirds flutter through a spring time botanical bramble with all the signs of early spring that give hope of spring after winter. Honeysuckle and jessamine fill the air giving the hope of spring, and a few early blooms of star jasmine.
This painting was created with many detailed layers of watercolor over and over to create this result. I find that wood absorbs more of the paint than paper does and tends to require more layers. The result is completely worth it when you see the colors interact with the wood grain and the wood grain patterns show through the painting.
