This is a made to order item! It will vary from the pictured pieces due to the nature of completely handcrafted jewelry making. Each one always turns out a little different and unique.
I start by drawing out a datura blossom and its leaves, then transfer them to sterling silver sheet metal and saw them out by hand. I carve by hand into each of the blooms and leaves for details, then oxidize the pendant for a dark grey finish. This is double sided engraved so it doesn’t matter if the necklace flips sides. Jump rings are soldered shut on the pendant.
Datura is a plant of many names. Sometimes moon flower, jimsonweed, thornapples, angel’s trumpets or devil’s trumpets. It is a poisonous plant that is associated with the night. Some of its variations have lovely, swirling ruffled trumpet blooms.
There is an add on option for adding labradorite, or a rainbow moonstone charm to this necklace.
Your pendant will hang from a sterling silver chain in your chosen style of chain, length, and silver finish.
