This resplendent star ruby glows a purple/magenta/pink hue, and its tall height inspired this design. A standard bezel would have had to be extremely tall, and its the right amount of space for an intricate scene. I hand crafted a flowing pattern of strawberry "vines" twirling around the star ruby with leaves that act as prongs to hold it in place. The back features the smallest wren with a strawberry.
