At first glimpse this necklace's garnet seems like a deep,dark red, but on glimpsing under direct light it shows itself as a star garnet. Depending on the lighting, the star effect on the stone can be subtle or very clear. A rambling blackberry vine serves as the garnet's setting walls, sawed out and engraved for detail. The back features a secret engraving (if you so choose to keep it secret) with a small bird and blackberry vines.
