This design is inspired by the designs of antique Victorian mourning jewelry and other memento mori style of art. I took the design from the skull and Ivy cemetery inspired earrings and necklaces, and used it towards a delicate, effortlessly stackable statement ring.
The clear quartz rose-cut stone creates a portal to the shadowy resting place of this miniature skull. I’ve oxidized the piece, but the skull gleams from under the stone. Completely handmade from the setting to the skull and ivy vines.

A photo of the ring (oval shape stone) worn on my own hand is there for sizing scale. the stones tend to be about 6-8 mm.
