Oak Moon with Hessonite Garnet Necklace- Sterling silver and brass jewelry

Please note: I realized after I set the stone that the hessonite garnet gem is on a slight angle you can only see from the back cut out. As such I've discounted the necklace accordingly. It looks perfectly fine from the front, and the stone is securely set. 

Two brass oak leaves and one crescent moon were sawed out by hand and engraved for detail to accent the gorgeous hessonite garnet pear shaped gem. This garnet looks extremely amber like to me, but with much more strength than amber. The back of the necklace has an oak leaf shaped cutout to view the stone and its natural inclusions in the back. The back also features engraved leaves, moon, and stars.

This necklace is on a pre-set chain! It is my standard link chain, slightly darkened, and about 16 inches in length. Chain extenders can be added for extra necklace length,.
