Night Ghosts of the Swamp- Art print of watercolor swamp scene

A Print of my own watercolor painting. This print is 8x8 inches and printed on matte cardstock paper.

The swamp is rarely pictured as the magical landscape that it is in the Southeast/lowcountry. It is never celebrated to the level of the beach-scapes and marsh scenes, but to me it is an essential landscape of where I have grown up and lived most of my life. This painting catches a glimpse of the swamp in the night hour with a green-teal dusken glow to the sky. Its resident ghosts: the barred owls, fly and perch silently. Fireflies frolic about and offer a gentle glow around the bald cypress trees, spanish moss, and swamp lilies.
