This is a print of one of my original watercolor paintings on a circular wood panel that I scanned in order to create this print. It has matte finish and is on heavy stock print paper. 8 inches by 8 inches. Does NOT include a frame. This print has white borders.
This painting features a hummingbird , perched on spring floral thicket of star jasmine and bumblebees. My painting technique involves painting layers of watercolor on wood panel, which allows the wood grain to be seen through the painting.
Prints will be sent to you in a 100% recycled paper sealed bag (from EcoEnclose) within a rigid mailer envelope. Cyan Owl focuses on choosing eco friendly packaging for orders. Prints are a new item for me, and I’m still trying to determine the best balance of art print protection through the mail and weather, and environmentally friendly selections. While plastic isn’t my first choice, there is sometimes the possibility that packaging for prints may vary, and sometimes may involve re-purposed plastic. I hope you can re-purpose any plastic that is used for packaging during this time!
