An original watercolor painting on a floating frame style of oval wood panel, the frame itself is painted gold and the “shadow inset” I have painted a deep forest green. Size: painting picture is about 6x8 inches, with the built in frame it is 7.5x9.5 inches.
This fox leaping through the woods has been in my thoughts and my inspiration for many a month (year/s possibly, keeping track of time is a challenge). I wanted it to capture the multi facets of the forest, from the grandest trees to their roots and mushrooms dwelling in the ground. Ferns sway, and woodland asters and bramble vines bloom.
This painting has been sprayed with a UV protectant varnish & ready to place on your walls with a small hook installed on the back of each. Titled and signed on the back.
