This is a print of one of my own paintings, featuring a snarling fox ready to protect. It is encircled by protective juniper sprigs, and a single crescent moon that I’ve handpainted with metallic copper paint on each print.
The original painting was oil and watercolor paint over a birch wood panel, hence why you see wood grain swirling and some paint texture throughout the print.
Prints will be sent to you in a recycled plastic sealed bag within a rigid mailer envelope. Cyan Owl focuses on choosing eco friendly packaging for orders. Prints are a new item for me, and I’m still trying to determine the best balance of art print protection through the mail and weather, and environmentally friendly selections. While plastic isn’t my first choice, I’m still attempting to find what works best against moisture. That being said, packaging for prints may vary, and sometimes may involve re-purposed plastic. I hope you can re-purpose any plastic that is used for packaging during this time!
