This necklace features a faceted smoky quartz with a hand engraved skull under the gemstone, which creates a portal to the shadowy resting place of this skull. The back features a small engraved oak leaf and acorn. The silver pebbles dotting the bottom of each of the necklaces are reclaimed silver from my other projects.
This design is inspired by the designs of antique Victorian mourning jewelry and other memento mori style of art.
