This is a made to order item. Once purchased I will create a necklace just for you. Each moth and moonstone will vary due to the nature of completely handmade!
A completely handmade luna moth created from sterling silver. I draw out each moth outline on sterling silver and saw it out by hand. All the details you see are carved and etched by hand by me, and the moth legs and the stone setting are formed and soldered onto the moth.
A pear shape rainbow moonstone crowns the back of each moth. Rainbow moonstone is a stone that flashes its colors depending on lighting. The otherwise white stone shimmers blues and greens mostly, but some of these stones can have some golden yellow hints. The labradorite can come in multiple colors, usually blues and greens. If you have a color preference please let me know, otherwise you will have a labradorite picked for you!
I’ve included a photo of this moth pendant with a quarter for an idea of its size. It hangs from a sterling silver chain of your choice of length. The last photo shows this necklace next to my smaller luna moth necklace for comparison, found here:
